New Orleans Downtown Development District

The Downtown Development District of New Orleans (DDD) was created by the Louisiana Legislature in 1974 as the nation’s first assessment-based business improvement district (BID) to provide enhanced services in economic development, cleaning and safety.

Their core mission is to attract new businesses and residents into the central downtown of New Orleans.

I worked with the DDD through Hop & Jaunt as the Creative Director to craft the pitch for the benefits of living and working downtown with the final deliverable being in a printed booklet for distribution nationally. Directing a team consisting of copy writers, designers, photographers I art directed the project from out door shoots to the final layout and information on the brochure.

Working with the clients directly to insure that the proper tone and message was conveyed while presenting the city center as a vibrant emerging hot bed for young professionals.
